By now many know the tennis bracelet; a bracelet set up by a continuous row of diamonds set in a gold setting with a retractable clasp also covered with diamonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to being without beginning and end, it soon became a symbol of eternal love, a perfect gift for celebrations and anniversaries, taking the name of eternity bracelet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is it called that?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

eternity bracelet<\/em> began to be called tennis bracelet<\/strong><\/em> <\/strong>in the 80s, more precisely in 1987.<\/strong> During a tennis Open<\/em> match, the young American tennis player Chris Evert<\/strong> suddenly lost her diamond bracelet, right in the middle of the game and in order to be able to recover it, she asked for the momentary suspension of the match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The live TV cameras did not stop following her and she unknowingly outlined a sort of commercial for this jewel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She involuntarily showed off a tennis bracelet essential feature: practicality<\/strong> combined with elegance.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sportsman cannot afford to wear very elaborate jewels during competitions but this bracelet is so thin that it doesn’t bother, it is like a light thread that surrounds the wrist, barely making itself felt but at the same time giving a touch of elegance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
